Their recipe says use 375ml buttermilk, which I always find annoying because what do you do with the other 225ml? Anyway, my recipe uses the whole 600ml. I only make gingerbread during one time of the year and that is pre-Christmas. And boy to I end up making a lot! This recipe has been a hit for many years, I hope you enjoy. Note that you can drop the level of spice for kids if you wish. My sister-in-law gave me a cool little butter churner for Christmas and what do you know, it works!
